Worshiping through Generosity

Giving FAQ's

Why do we give?

  • God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift imaginable - His Son Jesus - to die on the cross for our sins. Our lives are transformed by the gospel of Christ. When we learn to give generously, it changes us, making us more like our generous Creator.

What is the Tithe? What is an offering?

  • The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing is giving the first ten percent of our income back to God. The Bible says that everything we have comes from Him, so tithing is actually returning to God what belongs to Him. When we tithe, we are putting God first in our lives and trusting Him to provide for all of our needs. An offering is anything we give beyond the 10%.

What does our giving support?

  • It takes financial resources to accomplish the work God has called us to do. Our obedient tithes and generous offerings enable the Connections Church to fulfill its mission to connect God and people through His word, prayer, and fellowship. Our giving funds the daily operations of the church, fuels special ALL IN projects, and supports the numerous core and outreach ministries.

How can I give to the church?

  • Online giving. Safe and secure giving through our online processor, Servant Keepers. Safe, easy to use, and set up an account. Can use a debit card, credit card, or your banking info to set up one-time or recurring giving.
  • Give via Cash/Check. You can put a cash/check into the plate during our prayer and offering portion of the service. You may also use the locked boxes by the doors to the sanctuary. These are emptied at the end of services each week. This is also where you can find the Tithe envelopes.
  • If you are interested in donating other items, such as stocks, mutual funds, used vehicles, real estate, just click the NEXT STEPS button to the right on this screen and select Contact Us. We will get you in touch with our Administrators.
